About Sylvie
Sylvie Levesque-Finn, Founder of SLF Coaching, is an experienced senior executive with over 28 years of service with the New Brunswick Public Sector. Sylvie combines her senior leadership experience with her executive coaching skills to offer a confidential learning environment that will assist leaders realize their full potential.
As a Certified Executive Coach, Sylvie empowers leaders to take action to improve their performance and professional satisfaction by: improving their self-awareness, assessing their existing competencies and behaviors, getting clarity over their action plan to achieve established goals, building their confidence, getting alignment between values and actions and enhancing their leadership presence.
Sylvie holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching (CEC) from Royal Roads University, an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation from the International Coach Federation, a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Moncton.

As a coach:
It begins with a conversation to discover a leaders’ current state. The outcome is a personal roadmap – a plan – with actionable steps to intentionally push the leader toward their desired state.
My Motivation:
After a successful career in the New Brunswick Public Service, followed by the completion of my certification in executive coaching, I now pursue my passion of helping individuals learn and grow professionally. In this second career, I’m able to dedicate my full energy and time assisting clients become more effective leaders.
Nothing is more rewarding to me than hearing from clients how I have made a difference in helping them develop a greater self-awareness and obtain clarity and focus to move forward. Having personally experienced various levels of management during my career, I can easily relate to leadership challenges and opportunities that many people face throughout their own career.
I have often been complimented for my integrity, listening skills and my ease in connecting with people. These qualities are important to me as a coach, to develop a trusting and collaborative relationship with my clients.

- A good appreciation of the pressure, demands and expectations placed on today’s executives and leaders.
- Experience coaching leaders in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
- A Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University in Victoria; Member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and, an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation from ICF.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from l’Université de Moncton.
